Soldat Script: Infiltration Handicap

Created a new script today, called Infiltration Handicap. Essentially, it just allows you to control the handicap that gets placed on Alpha team when they score and the teams are unbalanced.

There’s not much else to say, really.

Sorry for the lack of posts (if you’re a strange person and you happened to have kept on following my blog… I hope you haven’t been the person who follows me every time I walk the dog), but I kinda got bored of making blog posts every day, and then every week, and so on and so forth. Ah well, I guess blogging isn’t for me, then.

I got bored, so I made some scripts to use for shit.

One is an ASCII-to-other converter, and it allows you to convert between ASCII text, hex, binary and stuff. (link)

The other either ciphers or hashes text (although the only cipher there at the moment is a shift cipher… yet to code any other ciphers). (link)

You never know, they just might come in handy…

Some future additions… and back to school!

Just thought I’d put up what I’m thinking of adding to ausgather.net in the future.

There’s a number of things currently on the cards, such as accuracy and flag passes, but I can’t start recording these things until the next ScriptCore (which will essentially be the next Soldat version, if I’ve interpreted EnEsCe’s latest post correctly). There’s also achievements, which you may have seen on games on Xbox or Steam, which are being designed to award you for playing well during gathers. BLING also mentioned to me that he would be interested in possibly using my gatherbot in the future, which means I would have greater control over how stats are recorded, and I’d be able to start penalising users who add to a gather and then don’t even turn up to it.

At the moment, I’m trying to make PHP record sessions into the MySQL database that I use, so you don’t get logged out between sessions… hopefully.

I’ll probably be doing this during spare time due to the amount of homework I expect to recieve at school this term. Ugh… school… can’t wait for the end of this year! No more bloody homework!

Anyways, if you guys have any suggestions for ausgather.net that you would like to see implemented, get in contact with me, or make a new topic on the forums for #aus.gather on ASCTFL.
